No-bake healthy treat! A very easy, healthy, sweet and salty, crunchy treat that your kids are sure to enjoy creating and eating! Very versatile with toppings and can be made with any nut or seed butter. Vegan and Plant-Based approved!
Looking for a quick and simple, sweet & salty, crunchy & healthy treat? Well, look no further. This is a treat that is easy enough for the kids to create on their very own. This is a great transitional healthy sweet treat.
Oh yeah, it’s vegan and plant-based!
Well, if you’re like me and don’t have a lot of time for fluff and really just came for the recipe; then let’s jump right to it!!
Recipe
Ingredients
(Makes 8 crunchy cakes)
8 brown rice cakes
1-2 tablespoons of nut or seed butter of choice ( we love almond butter on ours)
2 ripe bananas coined into about 1/4 inch pieces (you want the bananas to be ripe, but not too ripe)
Optional Toppings ( to add on or to use instead of bananas)
Walnuts
Chocolate Chips
Raisins
Jelly
Hemp, chia seeds
Flaxseed meal
Seasoning
Cinnamon
Salt a tiny pinch( optional, but enhancing the sweetness)
Nutmeg (optional)
Directions
Take one rice cake and spread nut butter onto the rice cake as if you’re making a P&J sandwich.
Now, add about 5 bananas and/or any toppings on top of the nut butter
Then sprinkle cinnamon over the entire cake and a very tiny pinch of salt
Now, enjoy this very easy, healthy, sweet and salty, crunchy treat that your kids are sure to enjoy creating and eating!!
